About the role: Loss Control Surveyor
As a Loss Control Surveyor, you’ll visit customer sites and review risks for homes, farms, and businesses. You’ll write clear reports to help our team make informed insurance decisions. You’ll also share advice with customers to lower risks and improve safety. Working closely with underwriting, claims, and brokers, you’ll play a key role in protecting both our customers and our business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Visit homes, farms, and businesses to check for risks.
- Write reports that explain your findings and recommend solutions.
- Help customers understand and reduce their risks.
- Work with brokers, claims teams, and underwriting to make informed decisions.
- Share your knowledge with the team to improve how we manage risks.
- Handle special projects as needed.
What you’ll need:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A good understanding of risk management and safety practices.
- Experience with commercial insurance, surveying, or consulting.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to explain risks and solutions clearly.
- A full driving license
- Working towards or holding an ACII qualification is ideal but not required.
