Islands Insurance Group is proud to support the Annual Big Ride Out in aid of Holidays for Heroes Jersey, taking place on Sunday 25th May 2025.
This much-loved event brings together hundreds of bikers from across the Island for a ride-out that stretches from St Catherine’s Breakwater to Corbière, culminating at the Watersplash. It’s a key fundraiser for the charity and one of the most anticipated dates in Jersey’s summer calendar.
This year’s ride will be led by outgoing Chair of Holidays for Heroes Jersey, Richard Harwood, with support from local biker clubs and in close coordination with the Island’s Constables and Chefs de Police. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all involved, the event will be limited to 750 participating bikes.
“This is a massive event for Holidays for Heroes which is enjoyed by riders and the viewing public alike,” said Richard Harwood. “Tickets may well sell out well before the ride, and we would ask those who are not able to get tickets to respect the commitment made by the charity to the authorities. Only bikes with stickers on will be able to join the ride.”
Tickets are available now from OBB, Mansells, and Inmotion for a minimum donation of £10 (cash only). Riders who purchase their tickets in advance will also be automatically entered into a raffle to win one year of free motorcycle insurance, courtesy of Islands Insurance Group (T&C Apply).

Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
This page sets out the terms and conditions for the Big Ride Out Motorcycle Policy Prize Draw (the “Competition”), which is being organised by Islands Insurance Group (the “Organiser”). By purchasing a ticket for the Big Ride Out event and participating in the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Competition is open to all individuals who purchase a ticket to the Big Ride Out event held in Jersey.
2.2 Participants must be 18 years of age or older and residents of Jersey.
2.3 Employees of Islands Insurance Group, their immediate families, and any third parties directly associated with the administration of the Competition are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
3.1 Each ticket purchased in advance of the Big Ride Out event grants one (1) automatic entry into the Competition. Tickets purchased at the event will not qualify for entry.
3.2 Participants will be assigned a unique number corresponding to their ticket at the time of purchase.
3.3 Only one entry per ticket purchased is permitted.
3.4 No additional purchase or payment is necessary beyond the ticket purchase.
4. Prize
4.1 The prize is up to £400 towards the cost of a Motorcycle insurance policy arranged through Islands.
4.2 The prize can be used for either a Riders Motorcycle Policy or a standard Motorcycle Policy.
4.3 If the cost of the policy exceeds £400, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference using one of our accepted payment methods. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
4.4 The prize must be used for a new Motorcycle insurance policy or a renewal with Islands and must be redeemed within 12 months of the prize being awarded.
4.5 If the cost of the policy is less than £400, no cash difference will be paid.
4.6 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
5. Draw and Winner Announcement
5.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
5.2 The draw will take place on Sunday 25th May 2025 at the Big Ride Out Event.
5.3 The winner will be announced during the event.
5.4 If the winner does not claim the prize upon announcement, Islands Insurance Group reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
6. General
6.1 Islands Insurance Group reserves the right to cancel, amend, or alter the Competition and these terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues outside its control.
6.2 Islands Insurance Group’s decision in all matters relating to the Competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.3 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Jersey, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jersey.
